Abstract (Translated): 
The present research examines the hole of the major national companies in the process of Brazilian and South American integration and productive development, under the aspects of market factors of production (land, labor, capital and technology), in the direct/indirect organization of the various stages of manufacturing. From the selection of key enterprises of different economic sectors listed on the Brazilian Exchange Market (Bovespa), it shall be considered: the economic activities carried out and the integration among companies; the participation of the public and private sector and foreigners in the operational direction of the organization as well in financing of companies; the production capacity settled, the investments projects and the economic and financial capacities; the business activity in the different regional scales of countries and continents of South America and the world; in addition to some issues raised in the course of the investigation, while limits and potential, that help provide some references for a research agenda.
