Zusammenfassung (übersetzt):
This work analyzes the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the mitigation measures that were adopted against it in different dimensions related to the agricultural producers of the Bolivian Altiplano, such as employment, income, food security, education and health. For this purpose, data from the 2020 household survey containing questions about COVID-19 were used. In relation to employment and income, it is evident that income produced by agricultural activity was not affected, although income from other activities was. It was also found that the characteristic of "family farming" in the Altiplano helped food security not to be affected. For its part, education was affected by the low use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in rural areas, which made it difficult to carry out an appropriate virtual education. Finally, although there were infections by COVID-19, the vast majority of people were treated at home, although little knowledge is evident in relation to the disease.
