Abstract:
Abstract (Translated):
All diagnostic methods are understood as molecular diagnostics, that are based on molecular or biochemical analyses in vivo (in the living organism) and is done in vitro (outside the organism). The following study restricts itself to diagnostics in vitro. Procedures, that are carried out at body-liquids or biopsy-tests (tissue-removal) and are based on molecular interactions, are meant by it. Which role molecular diagnostics can play especially in the prevention of multifactorial illnesses and the cost-structure of a future healthcare market is examined.
